April 5th, 1897 was the day the New York Central train stopped in New Katonah to deliver the mail for the first time. Join your friends and neighbors on Saturday, May 21st to commemorate this amazing part of Katonah’s history and to celebrate the wonderful town it is today: 125 years later.
The day will begin at 11am with a Children’s Parade and Dollhouse Wagon parade (registration required for this portion at katonah125@gmail.com) down Katonah Avenue.
At 11:30am, new town signage commemorating the move will be unveiled at the gazebo.
