CAP: The Art Of Sashiko

October 22 from 10 am to 12:30 pm: “The Art Of Sashiko” Presenter: Arlete Chaves, master quilter and designer. Have fun transforming your old shirts and jeans into works of art; or use the fabrics we provide. Sashiko is a Japanese form of decorative stitchery that is simple to do with effects that are striking and lively. The only things you’ll need to bring are a good pair of scissors to create your own beautiful functional bag (or, if you wish, a piece of your own clothing to decorate.)
