A wonderful community event took place over the past week. What started out as a Zoom planning meeting in early July with a core group from the KVIS K5K committee turned into a reality. We had 108 registered participants for a Virtual Road Race which is beyond what we ever expected. Before this pandemic many of us had very little knowledge of how one would run or walk virtually!
The Katonah community and those from afar came together virtually. Whether you walked, strolled or ran somewhere from September 5th through the 12th, you, our neighbors, family and friends, made it happen.
We at KVIS, whose mission is community and keeping it vibrant and beautiful, thank you all for your spirit which came alive and carried us through. See you next year on the village green, we hope!
